Each Advanced Regular Guard Your ID Roller is good for approximately 1,000 uses and covers about 3 lines of text per swipe, depending on paper type and pressure.
The rollers are not refillable, and here’s why:
- The ink cartridge is sealed to maintain proper ink consistency and prevent drying.
- Refilling would reduce the clarity of the masking pattern, which is what keeps information unreadable.
- A refillable chamber could leak or smear, especially on curved or glossy surfaces.
- The sealed design ensures clean, reliable, mess-free use every time.
With normal household use, the roller will typically last 3 to 5 years as long as the cap is securely closed after each use to prevent air exposure.
Most customers find that replacing the unit is easier, cleaner, and more effective than refilling. If you handle larger volumes of mail or packaging, we’re happy to recommend a wide roller that covers even more area per swipe.
