Yes — your Guard Your ID Wide Roller is refillable, and the refill you purchased is correct. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you replace the ink cartridge:
How to Replace the Ink Cartridge-
Open the Main Body Cover
-
Hold the roller with the print window facing downward.
-
Slide or lift the main body cover open.
-
You’ll see the lock button on the side.
-
-
Unlock the Cover (if applicable)
-
Press and hold the lock button upward.
-
While holding the lock button, fully open the main body cover.
-
Once open, the cover will lock automatically.
-
-
Remove the Old Cartridge
-
Lift the used ink cartridge straight up and out.
-
Avoid touching the roller surface to prevent ink transfer to your hands.
-
-
Insert the New Cartridge
-
Align the new cartridge so the roller is facing the print window.
-
Press it down into place until it sits securely and flat.
-
-
Close the Main Body Cover
-
Close the cover until it clicks and locks.
-
-
Test the Roller
-
Roll on a piece of scrap paper a few times to get the ink flowing evenly.
-
-
If the ink appears light, letting the roller rest for several hours often resolves the issue.
-
Please do not re-ink the cartridge — replacements only.
